its obvious that hillary clinton must accept the inevitable, now the people of the United States of America, have two very different choices?

I am convinced that Obama will be better for the world, what are your comments, incase you are American, will you give a chance to McCain?

Old Guard - Helped stabilize Europe twice last century and bring down the Soviet Union.

New Vision - Squandered "peace dividend" of the 1990s, which led to current fiasco.

Guess I'll take Old Guard, they know what the stakes are and aren't lying to themselves or anyone else in the process. Sure they may say a few things for a good 'ol fashion 'rally around the flag', but sometimes that's what it takes in a democracy of 300 million (third most populous country in the world).

represents the old guard.. People perceive his policies as those of the Republicans and ofcourse the Bush administration. To have real change, Obama must become president.

that my interest a lot. While Obama has won the primaries, there is still a vote in August by the democratic delegates to choose who will run, hence the reason why Hilary has not conceded defeat. If she concedes then there will be no need to vote in august if she doesn't then the party will have to vote. The primaries according to what i have read are also known as the popular vote, it is how the party gauges who will get them the most votes come election, this with the vote in august will determine who gets to go on, so hilirary providing that she wins the majority vote from the delegates could still end up the democrates main candidate.

I would like to see Obama , but feel that he may still be a little naive for American politics. Also, I am sure the Republicans have enough dirt ready to throw at Obama especially regarding his links with the pastor, his "islamic" background and Iraq..

It will be interesting to see who the vice presidential candidates will be on both sides.

I'm glad Hillary is out of there for the time being, as the Clintons really tore the country apart. They both have a "love them" or "hate them" effect on people. Look at the way Hillary was dividing her own party during the nomination process, too.

Actually, I wish the race was between Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain. They both are smart and tough women, and it would be an exciting race then.

Obama is clearly unfit and not ready to be President of USA. He is weak in developmental economics and foreign affairs. He is superficial, inexperienced and has not travelled widely enough and does not comprehend the dynamics of international politics.

If he is elected, the world will pay a very heavy price for his education to be a global leader, as in the case of Richard Nixon and even George Bush and his handling of Iraq. Obama, is not the answer to America's political and economic problems.

Of course he's not going to deliver what he promises, he has absolutely NO plans or strategies. He'll just go off half-cocked and end up screwing things up even worse then they are now.

I want Obama to win, but I think that the Republicans will really work on Obama's character and previous links. Also, I wonder if the USA is actually ready for a black, sorry African American president.

Obama has just declared that: "if he will be elected, there will be no tolerence when it comes to the security of 'Israel' and that Hamas is a 'terrorist' group"!

These U.S presidents are not only stupid, but also full of hatred to Arabs.

The only language with such governments/countries, should be the language of force.

YOU HAVE TO FIGHT TO ACHIEVE PEACE!

from a political stand point my monies on hilary she as far as the democratic party is the lesser of the two evils so to speak. what the democrates have done have said you can have either a White woman presedential candidate or a black man (now please this is not meant as a racist comment)I think the democrates underestimated Obama and had to much invested in Hillary's popularity. I think from the beginning it was always ment to be Hilary thats what i ment as the lesser of the two evils in that the majority of voters in america (and please people this does not include the population of america as you dont have to legally vote in america I am talking about the ones that actually get up off there A&^&%% to go and vote) would more than likly vote for a white woman over a black man (again this is not me being racist it is just a personal obsevation of how the american public tend to vote.)

Remember that presidents come and go, but the governmental workings stay the same (bureaucracy). obama promises a lot, but once he gets into power, he will struggle to put his ideas into action. I still prefer him though. It'll be a kick in the teeth for the rednecks.
