I'm not a bollywood fan at all, although being Indian, I think this woman has the guts to tell the civilised world, I'm ready for this anytime and anywhere....

The actress clearly never said she was representing Islam so penalizing her this way for what she does was unfair and senseless.

She is a publicity seeking actress and the clerics are morons who should be finding more important and relevant things to lecture on.

Who appointed a human being to be a judge against another in religious matters? We are all equal before God and only Him knows the righteous from pretenders.

How many are killing fellow humans in the name of religion. No wonder Karl Marx said" Religion is the Opium of the oppressed"

frnds.... i support Veena Malik for her points...

The relgious scholar is not doing anything for the upliftment of the Muslim society. He has to be fair to all followers.... irrespective of gender.... If u check the news abt things happening in Pakistan,...and many countries these religious scholars and relgious followers have lots of thing to correct in their society... Instead of acting at the right time they turn blind eyes.on incidents ...When they see a soft target they pounce upon the soft targets...for cheap publicity.....

When a man sees a woman in different sense.... Why should the woman control her..???? why cant the true follower advice or punish the man who does the wrong thing..... i still cant understand..... Shame on Men........who treats women in an unfair way....

I would advice the Religious scholar who appeared in the video to think.....and feel the embarrassment if he is subjected to such bad experiences....

Its 2011.....Things are supposed to change,,,i wish the world men population to give fair treatment for women...

Of course it is. Got that point as soon as it was posted.

I am limited in my knowledge - but she is a comedienne and an Actress, she was born mid 80's??

She is liked by some and hated by more men than women:-/

She debated passionatly with a mufti, who claimed she had engaged in 'immoral behaviour' as a contestant on Bigg Boss, even though he admitted to not having watched the show. Malik said 'that the mufti had violated Islamic law by looking at her'.

Sounds like a good woman to me :-)

Ignore it - it was trying to say that Pakistanis are worthless - we know they are not.

No Nation or Culture is worthless - we all have somthing to offer.

Is that it iammelonhead?

She shone above those men. She was rational, educated and far more open than those two men.

Get used it - these women are powerful.

I think the host of the programe and the scholar were wasting their time...as she proclaims, she belongs to show biz and self promoting is her right by all means...

Saw it and looks like one bright, clever woman against two bullying men.

She had every right to do what she did and these two men are bigots and are not reflective at all of the real world. She, on the other hand is!
