Pakistani Drama "Hotel Mohenjadaro"

I got this news from India about the drama enacted by the Pakistani cultural troupe now in tour in India.
How religious fanaticism spoils a country --- we are witnessing nowadays.
We shout at West and conduct acrimonious rallies...
But what is happenign the Friday bombings every week ?

The drama was based on a short story by Paksitan's finest short story writer Ghulam Abbas.

by the way, I am also an admierer of those writers you mentioned - Kishan chandar, Manto, Ismat
the-birdie, Ghulam Abbas wrote only in Urdu. 'Overcoat' is one of his most famous afsanas (short-story). He wrote hundreds of marvelous short-stories. He is of the same stature as Krishan Chandar, Manto, and Ismat Chughtai.
I do not know if his work is translated into English. However, I have English translation of Ahmed Shah Patras Bukhari's book 'Pataras ke Mazameen' in PDF format. Patars is one of the most acclaimed Urdu writers and intellectuals. His writings are considered classic in Urdu literature. Let me know if you are interested in his work.

Ghulam Abbas is one of my favourte short story writers. I read this one a few years ago. Thanks to you again for posting it here. It does pay off the reading.
