we are not against insemination process ... question here is that 'Thomas' is actually a female (born female naturally) ... first place you cannot play with God's nature ... secondly, if she has changed her sex to male and consider herself a male then why the hell she kept the women reproductive organ ?

Also I remember when the first test tube baby was born through artificial insemination a lot of people said the exact same thing that everyone on this forum is saying now. Now artificial insemination, surrogates, etc are the norm.

There used to even be a time when adoption was considered strange, wrong and shameful.

Then society needs to change to become more accepting Speed. I think they're going to make wonderful parents. They're current daughter is happy and healthy and the spit of her Dad (which isn't a bad thing to be given that he was a beauty queen before his reassignment). Now she'll have a wonderful brother or sister to play with.

As for what other kids will think, my guess is they won't think anything at all. Kid's don't have prejudices or hate, it's the parents that teach them that.

Why surprised Speed. Given the chance no i wouldnt do the same, as a muslim this goes against my religious beliefs, but this isnt about me. For me when people decide to have kids, the most important is that they give love and care for the children they bring into this world. I would rather see a protected and loved child(even if its a lesbian couple), than torturted children with hetrosexual couples.

Good for them, no doubt having gone through all this trouble to concieve, they will be wonderful parents. Regardless of societies views at least these parents will love and care for these kids which is more than i can say for some "traditional parents" who physically and emotionally abuse their kids. Just look at how some parents treat their own innocent kids, with the thread that Brit posted about abused children that caused a gruesome death.
