For the super rich, very little changes !!
Did you read the ABC News ?
The Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade show was held at the Intercontinental Hotel Park Lane, in London. Exhibitors ranged from British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin to Danish high-end electronics merchant Bang and Olufsen.
The headliner was the world's most expensive abaya, a traditional woman's garment. The diamond-studded cloak, by renowned British couturier Bruce Oldfield, carried a $350,000 price tag.
This event was not only a grand display of opulence but a potent reminder that for the super rich, not much has changed.
Too bad that the importance of abaya has been relegated to a fashion product to be auctioned !! All the super rich arabs have travelled far away from Islam !!
I guess once you have a certain amount of money, spending like that is not even a big deal. What is a lot to one, is nothing to another. You become numb and blind to your situation.
Plus, it can be really fun to buy beautiful things. I would say that abaya would not just be clothing but a work of art!

would love to hear from an expert on this!
I am always excited to go to sleep! In anticipation of the new experience I will find awaiting me.
Wrong...if they fall that's it for super rich. Change will make them commit suicide....

I do agree with you that some rich people are like this. But I would also point out people like oprah winfrey, bill gates who have done wonders for the poor in not only their own countries but countries from around the world. I am also sure that there are very rich people in saudi and qatar that help out the poor in different ways.
I do understand what u mean abut lavish spending. But what I don't understand! we are out buying the latest knock off of these artist simply because we can not afford to buy the original one. So, does that mean that if we become rich enough that we will buy these lavish things? I also think the abaya is a fashionable piece of garment. I been to tunis, morocco, egypt, kenya, gambia, senegal I seen many variations of the abaya and I could tell which ones were expensive and which were common/not so expensive. The abaya is pretty much the same of any other piece of clothing you ware it for the value of it so what is wrong with making it look stylish.

they all forget one simple thing once they blind with money; compasion to the poor.
Everybody is right everybody is wrong, it depend where you stand
