Ooredoo Launches New Online Forum
Ooredoo announced the launch of a new online forum for Ooredoo customers at the opening day of QITCOM today.
The online forum, called the ‘Ooredoo Community”, will offer a space for customers to ask and answer questions about services and technical issues with a community of members.
It will provide 24/7 access to information for customers and enable members to talk to Ooredoo staff directly in a free and open environment.
With the launch of the online customer forum, Ooredoo is adding another key initiative to its push to enhance the customer experience, which has seen the company transform its shops and supercharge its social media presence over the past year.
The Ooredoo Community will go live today and is available here.
Customers using the community will be able to “crowd-source” ideas and answers on a full range of technical and communication issues, far beyond the scope of a standard call centre.
Ooredoo experts will be part of the community, so they will be able to communicate directly with customers to solve problems and manage technical issues.
In addition, the Ooredoo Community will store and organise answers on key topics, so that members will be able to search a full database of knowledge.
The community has been designed to highlight trusted answers, and mark them as solutions for customers.
Ooredoo unveiled the new community during Qatar’s largest ICT event, QITCOM 2014, held at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
Ooredoo is showcasing the company’s latest technologies at the event, such as Ooredoo’s award-winning Data Centre services and the nationwide Ooredoo Fibre network.
The company will also be demonstrating the most up-to-date cyber security solutions, such as the latest Distributed Denial of Service Attack defences and Cloud Security services, designed to provide a higher level of support for companies.
Key subjects to be addressed at the event include Qatar’s plans to build smart cities and infrastructure. Ooredoo’s Director of ICTE Business Development, Wael Doukmak will be taking place in a panel discussion on “ICT as an enabler for Smart Living” during the event.
For full details of all plans, pricing and offers available customers can visit an Ooredoo Shop, ring the business team on 0800 8000 or go to www.ooredoo.qa for more information.
It was a good initiative until it was plugged off without any prior notice or information.
Is Ooredoo the only company that offers prepaid sim cards?
