Accommodation in HMC for Single Female

Hi,

I recently got an offer from HMC with a grade 115 position. On the offer letter, it states that accommodation is provided, but when I asked they said that it will be a shared accommodation.

Is there a possibility of living-out? I was told by HR that I can opt for a live-out and they will provide me the housing allowance.

Yes I have heard the same from some girls I have met here that if you opt to live on your own, you can ask your company to provide housing allowance instead of accommodation. Its upto the decision maker at the company whether they accept. You won't know that until you ask them.
