Hi All,

Need your advise with regards to the job that I was offered in Doha as a Regional HR Manager.

* Basic - 5000 USD inclusive of all allowance supplementary and cost of living.
* 2 Bedroom house or equivalent allowance
* Saloon car or equivalent allowance
* USD 330/month as tuition allowance per kid (if applicable)
* Yearly bonus based on performance

My wife & 2 kids will be coming together with me should I decide to take up the offer.

Is it gonna be suffice for a family of 4?

My other question is what is the salary range for HR Manager in Doha?

Thanking in advance to all.

Hi all,

Thanks for your warm welcome and much obliged advices.

Madilulur - I'll check out the school fees thingy. And they are providing 4 pax tix's.

westlaw - Appreciate the heads-up. What do you reckon the numbers that I should throw at them?

School fees are much, much higher - that offered is approximately USD 1800 per month short for a western primary school. Also, consider the cost of living here which is extremely high. I would struggle to survive on that offer alone - without spouse and children.

Check school fees, they may be higher than what has been offered. And two bedroom really isn't enough for four people. Are they providing four airfares?
