best offers to work in Qatar
Hi everyone, I am an engineer with MSc. Degree in quality management and 10 years of experience in organisations structures and development as well as quality management systems professional trainer.Recently,I got an offer for an organisation development position in Qatar, I was offered a net salary 2000$ and allowances 1000$, they said that it is acceptable for living in Qatar as a start having 3000$, I am expecting to get a detailed package offer within 2 days and I was wondering if this offer is acceptable as a start salary for such position in Qatar, or should I negotiate? And what are the most important things I should ask for and should be clearly stated in the contract to ensure that all allowances are covered?
I don't know what are the living expenses in Qatar, therefore,I need an urgent advice on the range of salary+allowance in Qatar

The basic salary offered to you is quite reasonable as a startup, however the allowance of $1000 (QR 3,650) is not enough to find a good housing accommodation. At the moment the rent of a 2 bedroom flat here in Doha is more or less QR.8000 per month hence you should clarify from your prospective employer if they are going to provide you an accommodation.
