Business Meeting?

Thanks again guys - I'm staying in a hotel for the night so i'll just suit up there and can stay in my lighter clothes for the rest of the time!

I'm looking forward to it - even though it is summer here in Ireland it is 15 degrees and raining! hope I can get a sun tan in one day!

Tipping is accepted here.. but i guess local currency is better.. and there is hard n fast rule of wat u shud tip.. it depends on how happy u r with d service..

during the time you're on your way there...Put your suit inside your car and if you get there, wear it on... then go straight to toilet to fix yourself... i normally do that because if i wear immediately the suit, before i reach the meeting, my attire is already crumpled. and worse, if you do not have car, your sweat is running like water and your people whom you supposed to meet will look at you like a wet chick....goodluck man...

Just another quick question.... What is the policy for tipping people in Doha? Is it done/expected or will it cause offence? Also can I tip people in other currency eg, sterling or us Dollors - or Euros? Don't want to cause anyone offence by tipping or by not tipping.

depends on whom u gonna meet.. if its a normal person u can go in formals.. but he is in an important post.. suit is always a gud option..

A formal suit with tie is the best for a business meeting even in this 48 degree temp people ware suit in this country...dont ware jeans/casuals

if you are just coming for one day meeting or interview hmm better be dressed well because they wont provide you uniform for that.

Thanks - Just flying in for a one day meeting - not starting full time untill October so I guess I'll get my uniform then.
