can i ask some question about the ramadan duty hours,overtime, and cancel day off?? how it can be paid by the company?? in the qatar labor law it can be convert to offseting dayoff?? bec. our company didn't want to pay our cancel day off during ramdan time,but all the staff are not agree with that offsetting day off. help us please..

PART SEVEN

Regulation of the Working Hours and Leave

Article (75)

The worker shall be allowed a weekly paid reast which shall not be less than 24 consecutive hours and Friday shall be the weekly rest day for all workers with the exception of the shift workers. if the circumstances of the work necessitate the employment of the worker during the rest day the worker shall be compensated for the rest day by another day, and shall be paid for working that day the wage payable to him for the ordinary weekly rest day or his basic wage plus an increase of not less than 150%.

With the exception of shift workers, a worker shall not be required to work more than 2 consecutive Fridays.

then all of you need to complain to ministry, sure they will pay you back if any extra hours you have done during the month of Ramadan. + if they let you work more then 48 Hrs in a week, as per Qatar Labout Law they should pay you overtime.

So go for labour, if the complain is more then 20 staff, action will be taken fast.
