Can you kindly tell me what qatar law says about deduction of employee salary. if employee salary is.
Basic = 800
Food Allow = 300
Transport Allow = 300
Total salary = 1400/-
If he absent from work without medical certificate so will we deduct his salary as per below calculation.
Absent Days = 2
1400/30 = 46.66
46.66 * 2 = 93 Qr. is this correct calculation as per qatar law ?

different companies use different modes of calculation, some base it on the calendar days like what you mentioned above, some do it on working days either 26 days for people working 6 days and 22 days for people working 5 days in a week. in working day concept the deduction is huge but so is the benefit calculation too.
again some companies deduct only on basic salary and most on total gross salary.
To my knowledge, calculation of deductions is based on basic salary and not the gross salary.
