EOSB or "Bonus" for Definite job with QP
By rajnaik1985@yah... •
in my contract for definite term , for 5 years , it is mentioned that "the bonus" , one salary for each completed year will be paid.
how ever there is no mention of End of Service Benefit.
1.Is bonus is the one which is declared from time to time by the company?
2.Definitive term engineer is eligible for it?
3.EOSB is over and above bonus? And it is paid (as per law) even if mentioned in the contract. ???
urgent help please

Trust you are OK too.
where have you been? long time no see... you okay?
Raj you are full of questions...dont rely on Forum answers regarding salray & EOSB ... You should clarify it with HR.
was much better.
One month for the first 5 years
One and a half month for the second 5 years.
Two months for subsequent years.
No limit on the number of years served.
20 years would earn you
5 X 1 month
5 X 1.5 months
10 X 2 months
Total 32.5 months terminal salary
We only get 75% of one month per year.
a laugh DaRuDe.
This one has had so many questions flying round and all could have been answered at interview or by the company.

ESB is payable within QP at the rate of one month's basic salary per year of service for up to a maximum of ten (10) years service. Certainly in the past it (ESB) was not paid to definite contract staff.
All these questions could have been answered by the company. I know for a fact that QP answer them openly.
