The money banks lend, is the money that people like me deposit as our savings. I don't want my money being given away to people, and never returned. That's unethical.

Fubar , Banks have billions of worth of Dollars unclaimed money from the persons who are dead or had forgotten their deposited money due to old age etc . Banks should adjust from that huge amount for the losses of the cases like Ever-Love, society 's money should be returned back .... .................. Wed , 28.05.2014 , 09.00 hrs

I'm only quoting the law. If you don't pay the loan, the bank will file a report with CID and you will be added to the no travel list. I hope the OP can get an NOC to find a new job, otherwise he will be in a real problem. Stuck in Qatar unable to work, and unable to leave, and unable to pay his loan.

Fubar , You have wrong approach in this matter . If a persons spends his borrowed money on eating / drinking you can't ask him to return the money after a few months because he is naturally unable to convert that expenditure amount back to beer / whis / chick etc and get the cash back from the bars / restos to return to the so called greedy bankers . .......................... Give intial info to your wife about the happenings here so that she won't scold you unnecessarily . You may get moral support from that side if you are fortunate enough ...................................,

You have to start searching a new employer or job immediately that''s the only solution. then continue paying your loan otherwise you will be stock here forever until you clear your loan. What are you waiting for?

If you can't pay your loan the bank will put you on a no travel list to prevent you leaving the country until it is repaid.

Taking loan while getting a salry was your mistake , be prepared for the effects very soon .............. It is very serious to borrow money while being in a foreign country .................. You loose too much money to the bankers which can be counted but you loose your sleep and loose peace of mind is beyond any measurement ............... Pray hard , good luck my friend .......... Start looking for a job in Dubai or Muscat. Wed , 28.05.2014 , 07.30 hrs .
