Is this a good offer for living in Doha?

Job: Translator
5500 QR basic
2000 QR accommodation allowance( or shared accommodation provided)
Transport to office is provided(by bus)

What do you think? is this enough for living appropriately and buying a used car?

N.B.: I'm a fresh graduate with a masters degree.

You can rent a private part of a villa for about QR2,000/month and have full privacy. It may be in a rather remote area but many people do it.

Generally QR5,500 for an MA holder is not an excellent deal but it depends on experience.

Good luck

Hi sek, thanks for your suggestion. I'm sorry, but I forgot to add some benifits to the offer...

In addition to the above, I would get medical insurance, 1 flight a year to point of origin ,and 21 days leave.

What bothers me more is the shared accommodation! I hate it to have 0 privacy.

I suggest you to ask about insurance, tax and medical assitance....not bed in my opinion the basic salary

Thanks novitta77 for your response. Yes I've asked them; they said a flat of 2 or 3 bedrooms. 2 persons per room.

QR 2000 for acommodation you will have to rent a room ...

If you go for shared accommodation , have you ask the company how many person in 1 flat / room?
