Is it enough...?

Hi to all,

I'm a mechanical engineer, 14 years of experience, eastern european. I got the following offer: basic salary 12000 QAR and 5000 QAR housing allowance. Transport to/from work provided, anual leave, standard medical... Is this enough for a single guy?

Can I rent 1 BR apartment fully furnished with 4000 QAR?

Is water and electricity included in monthly rent?

How much will food cost per month (will not eat in restaurants)?

Hi 4000 fully furnished (inclusive of electricity and water) u can get easily,, 2000 for grocery etc.,, miscellaneous recharge etc., 500 u keep 11000 savings for you... all the very best

1- 17000 is ok kind of salary for saving purpose.

2- 4000 rent with 2000 for monthly personal expences.

3- 11000 in bank for savings.

4- Depends on ur own personal routine without doing show off.

5- Asians share accomodation to reduce the expences and they can save upto 13000 per month.

6- Shared accomodation with same country guy with highly controlled interactions can save you from loneliness and too much food expenses too.

7- Lonely guys spend more on food and malls.Same with self cooking too. Self cooking means less useless expenditures.

8- Fix two days a month only for grocery shopping and eating out only 4 times out. You can save a fortune.

9- Wait for the comments who will inspire you to LIVE LIFE with lots of alcohol and partying. Do not get inspired and stay focused on savings.
