Hi all,
I would like to ask for an advice. I have been offered a job in Doha as a teacher assistant at a nursery. The salary is 1000 US dollars, accommodation and transport are paid by the employer. Is this a decent offer and will I be able to save any money??
Thank you!

Thank you guys, I expected that kind of reply but anyway...yes, I'm from Bulgaria and I'm currently working as an office assistant in a furniture company but I'm actually a Bachelor in Pedagogy with English language for elementary school but I have only 1 year of experience in school and I was just thinking about finding a job in the educational field and explore different parts of the world. Thanks anyway. I'm staying safe and happy in my beautiful Bulgaria.BTW, if you haven't visited yet you should do it!

It's an offer for an unskilled and inexperienced teacher. If you have credentials and experience it's too low.

As I am working in a school I can tell you that Its the normal rate for a teacheing assistant for schools here in Qatar. But you can negiotate after completing 1 year or so, usually there is an annual increment as well. You won't be able to save a lot as this country is a bit expensive in terms of food and shopping stuff.

A Big No, you wont be able to save much money

You still have to pay for your food, communication, laundry, entertainment, consumables etc.
