Job Offer
By GinoDeLatino •
Good Morning Everyone,
I'm Irish and have had 2 interviews with an Airline in Doha, Salary on offer is apx. QR 30,000 per month, Accomodation is provided, with transportation allowance, health plan and flights. Is this a salary that would lead to comfortable living as i have heard the cost of living is quiet high.
Also my fiance is a teacher and slightly aprehensive about moving, is there plentiful jobs for english teachers and are there many female ex-pats in general in Doha.
Many thanks for the help - Gino
Hello,
I got a interview letter for Rasgas throug one consultacy.
can anyone kindly tel me the selection process in ras gas
As jesus says, you'll be able to save money if your accommodation is taken care of. That's where the big saving is.
I don't think you'll be able to bring your fiance here under your own sponsorship, so she'd have to find a job and get everything sorted independently of you.
irish boy, accommodation is the killer here so if that's taken care of....board the plane.
We were hoping to go away for 2 years save up and then get Married? Is it really not an option to live together if only engaged?
Cost of living in Dublin Currently is very expensive and also there is a recession on the horison so a move would be welcome. Also considering a job in Dubai but unsure.
I fly out for a final meeting next week - just awaiting flight details etc.... Are they likely to allow my fiance to accompany me on this trip as i said she is still not certain on Doha.
Tanks for the replys *
At first glance yes, but it depends on your cost of living at the moment. It's all relative, innit?!
Shouldn't be a problem for your fiance to get a teaching job, though some of the teachers on here will be able to advise better.
One thing though, if you plan to live with your fiance here you should consider getting married first, cos it's against the law to co-habit.
Sure perfect go for it.
