Job offer in Qatar

Hi all, new to this forum so ill start by saying hi to all.

I have been offered a job recently in Qatar and was wondering if i could get some advice on it being ok, good, poor etc..

Its a senior engineering position within the construction industry. I have around 10 years experience with 4 years in the gulf region already.

The offer is:

20,000 QR Basic
2,000 QR Car allowance
30,000 QR per year for 2 children 4-18 years (will that cover school fees)
A 3 bedroom apartment inclusive of utilities.
Medical cover for family
1 ticket to UK (home) for family
25 day annual leave.

I was actually looking for a higher basic but not sure if 20 is considered average.

I agree. The average for a fresh college grad is 15k. that includes everything. compare it to what you were getting before this job offer. if it is better, then why not take the offer?
