Minimum Salary for IT Professionals in Qatar

Hi, I'm a Filipino, a graduate of 5-year computer engineering course with 5+ years of related working experience as a system and network administrator and certified under CCNA and MCSA certification programs.
I'm planning to work in Qatar, but I would like to know what is the minimum salary in major companies in Qatar such as QP, Qatargas, etc, for IT professionals with the same qualifications as mine. Can you give me also some IT companies in Qatar that pays good?

Also, I searched in Careers in QP website that they have hirings for Systems Engineer (Desktop) and Desktop Technicians (Windows), what do you think are the salary ranges for these positions and what is the Grade Level? what are also the benefits and how's the cost of living in Qatar?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for all the comments, especially from qatarisun. Actually, there are already some job prospects that I'm looking at, and they came not only from Qatar companies, but also from other gulf countries. My work experiences is 5 years in Saudi Arabia in IT field in an ARAMCO main contractor French company, and I'm looking forward to working in Qatar, UAE or Oman. I believe my job experiences got me shortlisted for these job offers, but since this is for "Qatar" forum, I asked only those with regards to Qatar IT jobs. I'm asking only, on your rough estimate or better, from your experiences or your friend's experiences, on how's the salary considerations "in Qatar" with IT professionals, specifically with QP or QatarGas or the other big players.

I do agree with "Qatarisun", you must work hard to get a job and during this process you will going to know what is the market of IT in Qatar.

I along with others are only giving you rough ideas, so don't follow it thinking it ACCURATE. They are just thoughts & also it depends upon person to person related to his experience while searching for IT job in Qatar

hey, why wouldn't you try to FIND a job first?

why to spend time for asking: whether you will or you will not find a job, instead of actually looking for a job??

ok, if we told you: "NO! You won't find any job here", would you take this idea out of your mind? you might be a looser then...

or, if we told you: "YES! you will find a job here", and then you spend a year looking for the job and get nothing.. WE will be liars..

Go and send your CVs everywhere and see if you can get at least one interview, and then ask them for the salary range.. what could be easier than that?

yeah, and about "minimum salary for IT".. it is QR 3,000 a month. Maximum? QR 100,000 a month.. I hope it helps you to make a decision. :)

so, i have to find jobs with high-profile companies in Qatar such as those with in oil & Gas industries and also those government-owned companies to benefits from high salary. another question, in QP, I believe there are "grade levels" for basis of the salary and sometimes, based on the nationalities. do you have salary range for those grade levels?

Well dear, it all depends on which type of company is hiring you. Low profiled companies will ofcourse give you low scaled salary while multinational companies will give you very good salary package

.

Now, just let me tell you any salary above Qar.12k is very better for a small family of 2-3 persons and also if you have been offered job from any Q-companies or Banks or MINISTRIES then you have a good future career wise along with salary increase.

.

I would like to highlight you that Qatar is the least affected country due to Financial crisis with exception of few companies who have been hit hard.Otherwise overall position of Qatari economy is very GOOD.

.

So feel easy to get a GODO JOB IN A GOOD COMPANY WITH A GOOD SALARY PACKAGE
