I have read this kind of question several times. And the answer is of course the same:

"It depends on your way of living"

But in order for you to have a clearer picture, let's answer it hypothetically:

Expenses:

House - 1,000 (Bedspace, don't be too proud, you're just starting - your friends in your home country will not know it anyway)

Transportation - 500 (Use public Bus as often as you can, if necessary take taxi)

Food - 2000 (Granting you are non-cooking and spend QR15 to QR20 per meal, 3 times a day)

Shopping, etc. - 500 (Enough to buy a piece of clothe, pants, shoes and Qubes entrance)

Family Support - 500 (You are not obliged to send them money, since you're a good boy, do it. If you are from India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Nepal, Pakistan - I think that figure is enough help for them. I know vegetables is good for their health, but let them know what burger tastes like - just kidding)

Electronics - 1000 (Whithin a month you can buy a new mobile phone and you can throw your old phone, after 3 months you can have your new Laptop and be updated with QL)

Income - 12,000

Expenses - 5,500

Savings - 6,500

Well, this is just paper. When you are holding your salary already, it's a different story. Lots of temptation.

It could be a problem if you are offered only Rs 12000 per month.

How many yrs of experience you are having? and in which domain?

depends, do you get housing, a car, flights, medical etc?

As for saviing, it will depend on how much you spend on leisure.
