Nursing salary

I am considering moving to Doha and would hopefully be working in a hospital that included the following : free accommodation (either single, or shared in a group), flights there and back, includes medical and dental insurance, travel allowance, bills - elec / water / internet. I expect to only have to pay for my own food, savings and entertainment. Is there any other expenses I'm missing?

I have absolutely no idea what to expect from the wage?? I know it's tax free. Right now I earn £26,800 per annum with 3 years nursing experience... would I get similar wage in Doha, or more? If I know what to expect then I can try an discuss appropriate wages with an employer. Just looking for an average to go by. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi dear,

Here average Salary for asian nurses in Hamad medical corporation is around 15,000 QAR including allowances if you are under overseas contract. If you are under husband sponsorship you are not able to have allowances. if you are not married or you want to stay hospital accomadation you can stay there with out allowances. Now they are recruiting nurses for Sidra medical research centre whic is a new medical institution started. they are looking mainly for western nurses. hope they will pay better. In primary health centers under supreme council of health also paying good salary. the main thing in gulf is salary depends on nationality. western people can get more than asians. The links below will help you to apply for job.
