The offered salary for a Autocad Draftsman is good and fair...because you can survive with your family a normal life. All the best...If any O.T comes, that will be an added advantage...If you are capable there is chance to promote you as project coordinator/head of drafting pool...etc.

Even a single bedroom decent unfurnished flat costs minimum 6000qr and cost of living too is pretty high..it would be ok if they give u free accomodation, free transportation + 9000qr. but still difficut for a family to stay here in that salary. you wont be able to save much.

I would say your offer is good. Since you have a small family to look after, you will survive in Doha.

Cost of 1 bedroom (Unfurnished/ semi furnished) is between - QR.4,000/- to 6,000/- per month

and for 2 bedroom (unfurnished/semi fur) is between 7000/- 10,000 per month.

Indian/ Pakistani and Arab schools are affordable here.

Cost of food 10 -15% higher then in Dubai, which should not be a problem.

In short, social life is slow here so no much spending, also not Salik/ No Parking fine or any other hidden fine like Dubai :-) you will be able to save some money end of the day !

hi,

8.000 QR is very little you will not be albe to live here by yourself even without your family. house rents are really high for example the avarage rent for a two bedroom appartment is not less that 7.000 QR per month. but if they are giving you 8+9=17 its a much better offer and you will manage to live here.
