Offer in Qatar
Am considering offer to relocate with my wife and son to Qatar with American construction project management company as Senior Project Engineer/Construction Manager. I have twenty years experience.They offer QR30,000 salary and QR15,000 allowance monthly. This is a three year assignment.
Thoughts.
I have more than 5 years working experience with electricity distribution, transmission and generation companies in Nigeria, i am in Doha on a business Visit. I need a Job as soon as possible and what are my chances please advise! Thanks all.

QR30,000 salary and QR15,000 allowance. QR45,000 all together. Whatever I do not spend on housing and vehicle goes into my pocket.Vacation was my tongue in cheek description of my three year sojourn.

nanoko..a vacation? I thought you were offered a job? :/ also, you are talking about 30000QR salary and 15000 QR allowance. So you have actually 45000QR all together? Sorry, this is not quite clear to me. Or is the 15000QR for housing? Or is housing covered bu the company?
I don't understand. There are always options however, this is the deal for a three year vacation in Qatar. My question is whether this is a good deal relative to others in a similar capacity.
If you have no other option then this is the best
All medical included. School costs to be coverred separately. Car to be from allowance. Tickets home once a year.
What other benefits do you have ? Medical? School fees? Car? Plane ticket home once a year?If those are extra, not in your base salary, it's a good offer IMHO.
