Hai,

I am now working in Muscat and saving atleast QR 1500 per month. Here my salary is QR 3000 per month. Now I got an offer from Qatar based company, they offered me a salary of QR 7000/- (Package). I read some of the QL topics and confused whether to accept or not this offer. How is the cost of living in Qatar with Muscat. Pls help….Now I am a bachelor, can I save better than what I am saving from Muscat……Please help……

Once your company has applied for your visa, it will be issued in 24 hrs of time.

Now everything is online.

Dear all,

I have accepted the offer and gave my passport copies and 4 photos to them, they said wait for 20 days. How much time it will require for getting visa and is any difficulty for getting visa for Indians??????

It will be a quite hard for u in Qatar. U would probably save up the same ammount QR 1500. Since the cost of living is high here and the country is getting expensive by the day.

My friend is a single and he earns around 3500, but its impossible to save for him.

It's always the small things that make big differences.

Meeraj...

If you want to stay with your family, 3200 will get you a shared 1 bedroom 1 hall 1 kitchen accomodation.. But you should be really lucky to get it :-)

Normally.. the rate goes above 4000

By the way... is 3200 QR your gross salary.. ?

If yes, i dont thnk you will be able to live with your family here...

Do negotiate with your company for more HRA.

You can save around 6500 if you avoid these

1) Food

2) Clothing

3) Shelter

Just keep the remaining 500 bucks in your pocket for the cigarettes.

Most of the ppl can't live without it.
