Hi all! Iam new to Qatar as well as to Qatar living. This site is really informative for someone like me who is new to the city.I just wanted to know the salary a female Indian civil engineer can expect here. I have 2 years experience in india. Also I am here on my husband's sponsership.

Hi friends, what is the salary for a female electrical engineer? I am having 2+ year experience including estimation/design with husband sponsorship and knows primavera, thanks.

I have learned Primavera P6, Revit and STAAD. . I am also familiar with Auto CAD.

Naah .. QR 5,000 is too low .. keep on applying and following up .. dont compromise below 10,000 in any case.

You are on husband's visa; wait for a few months, hundreds of projects are gonna be launched very soon, and so there will be a big requirement of Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineers.

Try to learn some good relevant softwares in the meantime, such as PRIMAVERA, MS Project, etc, in addition to the standard Civil Engg design softwares (if you are into design).

Guys. . Thank you so much for the positive and encouraging reply. . I have been getting not so good vibes since I reached here. . Most of the people I know told me that I would have to compromise under 5000QAR. And it will be really difficult to find a job here. .

The package also depends upon the reputation of company offering you a job.

If you have experience in Civil/Structural Design and you are being offered a job as a Design Engineer in top tier Consulting Firms and you have performed well in the interview, you can even expect QR 15,000 per month.
