Please stop comparing yourself with co-workers. If you are not paid what you deserve negotiate with the management, still not satisfied, find another place to work.

Remember, if you continue to compare yourself with other workers, not only the quality of your work will drop, you will also be under a lot of mental pressure.

Hi,

don't try to find an justice! The real professionalism, dedication and commitment what you perform at work place don't have anything common with a salary what you get paid comparing with some of your colleges. The local labour system just works like this. You have to accept it!!! If not - try to find something better for yourself. I know how you feel. Same as you I saw a lot of such "bright examples" around.

Good luck!

I empathise with you. I had the same problem. But my manager was felt hreatened by me as he knew I was much better than him. One day I decided thts it. Just resigned and moved out of Qatar. I immediately got an offer from athe competitor but my previous employer cancelled my visa. I dont give a monkeys f..k as I have already got thee jobs and moving to one of them. So the point is if you are confident in what you do just pack up and leave and things will fall into place.

But then again, people are generally paid what they're worth. They obviously have an advantage you don't - better knowledge and experience. If you have superior knowledge or experience, then get another job - you won't have trouble anywhere in the world if you're really good.

And what makes you think they "do nothing in the office" just because you don't see them working. Eg. if my boss reads the newspapers, goes golfing, entertains people - do I assume he's enjoying life at the expense of the company? The answer is NO. He's keeping his finger on the pulse of current news and business networking. It depends on the position and where you are on the organization chart.

Your colleagues may also be capable of working much more efficiently than you and thus spend less time doing the same work. Instead of assuming the problems lies elsewhere, take responsibility for your own actions.

You "work from 8 am to 5 pm like Dogs.." they might work 16 hours a day like dogs but just because they don't show it, doesn't mean they're not working.

It also depends on your position - higher positions have higher responsibility and higher risk. They will be at risk of losing their jobs, more than you would. Learn to look at situations beyond your narrow views. No one owes you a living.

You can call them what you like, but they're under no obligation to give you a pay rise. It's true that a good company should recognise the work of it's employers, but there are many companies out here who are not good. And if they can get away without giving pay rises (which they are as you're still working for them) then they probably will, especially in this economic climate.
