My Cuban Shotputter would always have a plate of Bistec de Palomilla ready on the table. We would eat and then wash it down with a hot cup of Karak

MM: Dinner gets served on time to the husband during the first couple of years of marriage when the shine is still there. Once, the child arrives, the poor husband starts getting sidelined. That is the custom universally.:)-

Britexpat: It is no doubt a very sorry state of affairs when employers do not pay salaries for several months. I feel the pain of the person who has posted his problem at QL. He is not the only one n this situation. But I hear that laws are soon going to be enacted to correct this problem. The employee has suffered much with no salaries for three months. If he remains patient a bit more, he will not only get all his money but will also not lose his job when new rules get implemented. I do not support such shameless employers who live with no morals and a dead conscience.

"another couple of months"? And from what should he live a couple of months?

I suggest that you remain patient for another couple of months and bear with the situation as the government is trying to correct this situation and hopefully they will soon bring in laws that will force employers to pay salaries on time.

Sometimes we need to take hard decisions in life .......... don't take it as a failure or a challenge to teach your sponsor a lesson .......... both these route will set you back by time , effort & finance ............. only thing which will go to your favour is if you can't go forward try to go a bit to left or right then come back to the straight path ........ ...........................

Both the Human Rights Committee and the Labour will help you get your salary. However, as is the common practice, the company may hit back by sending you on exit as a lesson for the other employees in the company. That is the very sad part. Neither the Human Rights nor the Labour Office can help you in getting NOC from your company.

Go to labour court and the human rights commission . They should help you.

No guarantee regarding NOC
