I have been offered a job as a Systems Analyst in Qatar. I am a British Citizen currently working in UK as a Release/Configuration Analyst for a multinational company with 9 years experience in USA and UK. I am married with no children. The salary offered in Qatar is

Basic - 13800
Transportation - 1000
Housing - 2 or 3 bedroom furnished apartment provided and utilities paid

I am also told that the company has provided 4 bedroom villas to employees with children and are also providing education expensis. Please let me know if this is a good offer.

you just need to ask about two way tickets and education allawances for future kids

USUALLY offers for such jobs should include the following:

1) Villa or flat with utilities

2) Car

3) Incase of future kids, they have to pay the school fees. Cos british or american schools here are not less then 25,500QR/year for Pre-school.And every year it increase between 10% and 15%.

it is good to have the housing paid for, but you still need to negotiate your salary and your transportation allowance, it seems it is low?
