Shipping company salary expected

I need to know about shipping company standard salary. I came from Indonesia and I offered to join as Young trainee and will be placed on a training system approx for 6 months. Pls give me advise whether salary I could ask to the company. Are they usually give salary benefit starting from training and would be same until working positioned or there's different benefit within during training program and after training. Therefore, the important is salary range

May i know why I suppose to objection if employer try to hold for my passport? ( I'm afraid its happen under reason because I'm on training within 6 months, so employer try to kept my passport)

Could you give me forecast living cost in Doha. How much money usually will spent for monthly spendcost? (Living in moderate / proper life...)

no idea about the salary, but i would like to suggest (if you dont mind) :

make sure they giving you acommodation, not an allowance.

they cover your medical

flight home at least once a year

and never surrender your passport to your employer
