Should I accept this salary package?

I have been offered a job by a private company called Ali Binali. They are offering 13,000 Riyals per month, with the possibility of commision on projects. There is also a petrol allowance and share housing living if I want it. However the job is 6 days a week, and that is my main concern. Having only ever had to work 5 day weeks, the thought of only having 1 day to relax and enjoy life worries me. Is this offer worth giving up my extra day for?

If you are single.. 15K + accommodation + commission is not a bad figure.

Well I am not exactly trained in this field. I think it may be somewhat admin related. However I hold a degree in psychology so believe I am over-qualified.

Would the same salary package except increased to 15,000 Riyals be more acceptable, or still too low?

What is your job profile? If you're technically qualified, then yeah maybe you're in a position to negotiate, but if it's admin related, then I'm not so sure you will be able to negotiate... If you're getting housing, I would say it is an acceptable offer.

if you are single its fine

if you are double its fair

if you are triple its unfair

if you are quad its absolutely unsatisfactory

This is not a good offer at all for a westerner. More over this salary range is very basic. consider 6 days means 6 days.....may be one hour less in last day.

Its depends on the position offered...

Though 13,000 Riyals excluding accommodation is not a good offer..If you are really keen to work here..then go for it..

6 days week..probably one day would be half day..for most pvt companies Thursday is half day.

But personally I don’t think its a good offer..try to negotiate at least couple of Thousands more.
