Hey guys! I recently just joined this forum and have been reading about the different salaries the companies in Qatar provide.
I am an American Syrian 21 year old single female. I have accepted a job offer in Doha with the following specs:
- 3500 Riyal basic salary
- transportation is provided
- accomodation is provided (furnished single room with living room+kitchen)
- all utilities are paid for by company (electricity, water, etc.)
- mobile phone is provided
- meals are provided by company (breakfast and lunch)

Is this an ok deal for Doha? I'm not trying to make loads of cash because I'm still young with no degree yet.. But is this enough to at least live a comfortable life in Qatar?
Thanks so much in advance for your help!

It's a reasonable offer. You could save 500 dollars a month.. Which is more than u would in the states ..plus you'll experience another culture

Also, I've been working since 17 so studying and working at the same time so it's not a problem

Of course I would not take this offer if I was in the states but I am living in Syria now and my maximum salary here is 400 USD. I can go to Qatar because it's closer to my family but I cannot go to America now.

No, please do not accept the offer as you are still young. Rather I advise you to continue your studies further and try to complete your graduation and look for better job in coming future.

I can't understand why anybody would want to leave the States and come here for 3,500 QR per month.

It's manageable if you're not very much into savings and earning currently far less then offered salary
