My husband has been offered a job as an Electrical Superviser/Superintendent. This is the package he has been offered (family package as we have a baby). :)

We live in a very small compound (9 villas) and the only amenity is a small pool. The rent here is 15. It is possible. I saw one in the paper the other day for 13 - don't know what it looked like but it had a lot of extras listed. Definitely for around 18 you could.

Our baby is no where near school age but the contract does cover schooling too (if we are still there !)

and I wrote 12577 QR because for it to be worth while for us we want to save $4000 Aus per month and thats what it converts to in QR.

Do you think we could get a villa in a compound with a pool for 15QR or is that pushing it?

Its a good package if they cover education. If your child is still some way off school age then its good until then.

But why exactly 12577???????

Good package. Housing good - villa on nice compounds will run btwn 15-20 so you are right there. Salary looks good to me. Transportation is good, really good if you are going with one car. If baby is anywhere near school age - get it paid for.
