What salary and allowances can I expect
Hi,
Can some friend in the forum give some idea on the salary and grade for the position of a Senior Engineer in QP. Am an Indian, nearing 40, with around 18 years of total experience out of which around 9 years spent in an oil company in the gulf. I can only think of jumping if they offer a base salary of more than 25k. Will I be in a position to negotiate, should they offer less. Also can I ask for Grade 17.
Also normally how many days does it take to receive a final call for interview in qatar after the initial telephone interview.
Finally, will I be able to take my dependent mother to qatar on a resident visa under my sponsorship.
Thanks and best Regards
tnx for the reply, is it true that you must work here for at least 2 years from one company before you can get this NOC?
tnx.

my sincere thanks to all who cared to respond
leaves some (but not a lot of) scope for negotiation. This enables (or should enable) the maintenance of equitable salaries.
Alowances are fixed.
Regarding asking for a higher grade......jobs are evaluated into a grade and the salary grade will never exceed the job grade. If it's evaluated at 16, then 16 it will be.
I work for QP AND QP will give you an impression that the grade and salaries are negotiable but nothing in QP is negotiable. It is take it or leave it! For your second interview after the telephonic one, it will take another 3 months before they call you for site interview and medical and no resident visas for over 60 years I think.
