what would be the best thing to do for me?
according to my agency i would be recieving 400 USD as my salary as private tutor in Qatar. Supposedly i was to be deployed early last december but it was posponed for certain reasons. Now i have my contract but i still did not affix my signature on it. Because im wondering and i want to seek advice first.Written there i would be working as company employee and i would be recieving 600 USD but according to my agency i should not have to ask that 600 USD because its only written on the contract in reality my employer would only have to pay me 400 USD as private tutor... Advice me now please can i ask 600 USD salary when i work there as private tutor because its the salary written in my contract??????

Your agency is probably the most stupid agency in the Phils for having given you that advise.
Your agency is jointly and severally liable with the empployer in the event of any violation under your employment contract. And you can sue the agency should your employer give you only 400$ monthly salary.
But this is not the real practice by scrupulous employers. They will give you 600$ alright with a payroll slip to boot but you will return under duress the 200$ so that it will appear that you are receiving what is due you under the contract.
My advise? Dont sign that contract, 400$ is not worth your worries, not enough even to buy decent food in Qatar.
What is your qualification? Are you going to be a Private Tutor for small kids? Are they going to provide accommodation and food? 600$ for an educated person is too low. If they are providing you decent accommodation, food, transportation etc. then it is ok for a fresh person.
400$ mean 1500QR Approx. which is to low, u cant even afford a single BD Flat . think abt it more & more

This happens all the time, and if you bite the dust, it's up to you. It should not be that fast, you should ask if that is only for your basic salary, how about house allowance, and food, transport and socialallowance? Or is it an over all salary already, you have to weigh in your job from this job, your job there will be permanent, here, until they needed you only. You sound like liking it, but think it well.
400 USD is very low for an educated person.

if i were you think about it really hard. that's a very small salary and that's coercion on the part of the company
it sounds fishy. try looking for better paying jobs. it'll be hard to survive here at 600 USD, so imagine if it's really only going to be 400USD.
