MY FRIEND CAME AFTER VACATION AND GONE FOR QURANTINE IN HOTEL. IN HOTEL QURANTINE THE MEDICAL REPORT WAS POSITIVE. AFTER THE QURANTINE PERIOD SHE JOINED BACK ON DUTY HOWEVER THE COMPANY DEDUCTED HER SALARY EVEN THOUGH SHE SUBMITTED THE MEDICAL CERTIFIATE OF 10 DAYS. PLEASE CONFIRM IF ANY ONE KNOW THE RULES. THE REASON THEY TOLD IS SHE WAS NOT RESUMED DUTY AFTER VACATION. ANY ONE GOT SAME ISSUES. ACCORDING TO LABOUR RULE IS IT CORRECT. WHERE TO CONTACT.

She can go to the labor and fight her case.
However, she needs to consider the pros and cons of this action.
As per laws, she is entitled to get paid based on the medical certificate. The certificate is required for the Company insurance to pay them. Maybe the company has not insured the employees.
Also, as per current circumstances, the govt. says to stay home in case of doubt.
