World Cup 2014: France vs Germany

The quarter finals of the Brazil World Cup starts tonight with France taking on formidable Germany at 7 pm QT.

While France came into the last eight having won convincingly against Nigeria, Germany stumbled on to the next round with a sloppy win against Algeria.

France, however, has yet to face a top opponent in this World Cup and Germany will be there toughest test so far. On the other hand, Germany has already shown their mettle by humiliating Portugal 4-0 in their opening game.

This fixture will be one to watch as it features high-profile stars like Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba, Thomas Mueller, Mesut Ozil and Manuel Nuer. High hopes rest on the shoulders of Mueller and Benzema to perform well for their respective teams.
