I am a Muslim and i currently live in U.S. but i was wondering if the Muslims in Qatar where religious, i know it is a Muslim nation but is it like saudi arabia where women cannot go outside without a man or drive?

nothing like Saudi whatsoever.. I am a muslim and moved to Qatar 4 months ago from the U.S.. and love it! there is a mixture of all nationalities, Muslims and non Muslims. you can say the country is conservative, but that is compared to Dubai. for eg. dressing modestly here is encouraged.. I'm not saying it's enforced though... so you barely find women with shorts or tank tops(they are rare but they still exist). But women drive, and can do just about everything I used to do in the U.S! I think the issue here is culture more than religion.. meaning that people care about traditions. I'm talking about locals of course
