Guys!! i just bought blackberry bold 9780,it was not in charge.. when i fixed with charger but its showing on Cell red cross in the mobile scree. what is the problem ? plzzzz

The problem i have been unable to charge my phone with the wall charger . it will still show the lightning bold but NO change in battery ststus.
