i see them in the bars all the time, but one of my mates told me that it's illegal for them to drink especially the girls, is this true and if it is do they have different drinking ages being qatari or being male/female :S ... and also are they allowed to purchase from the QDC ?

i was just curious and wanted an answer :p ...and i asked a Qatari and she doesn't even know, so now both me and my Qatari friend are curious and can't find a page anywhere relating to qatari's and drinking or even the QDC the QDC only mentions ex pats .... it's just plain curiosity (i'm a very curious person :p) :S

i don’t think anybody gains anything from drinking liquor or alcohol..........so why discuss on things that are not good for health anyways.........also I think its prohibited to be taken in holy place like any of the mosques or churches or temples then y don’t people prohibit this in their life's????????????

Qataris can drink legally because they have a mouth, a throat, and a stomache. But: they may not, because they have a religion.

Friend, Just forget about Qatari or anyone else, if he is a Muslim, there is no way of issuing any Liquor License for him, and more over, in Islam Drinking Liquor is Haram, which means Strictly Porhibited, so there is no question, whether he is a Qatari or whatever, if someone doing something, it will be punishable by Shariyah Law...Hope u got answer for ur question.

why do you rather just enjoy your own drink and allow other people the opportunity to live the life they choose.
