Chabra market is unbelievably cheap 40% less

Hello,

It is about time I did my modest contribution to this forum that has helped me so much with the nice people that there are here.

Most of you may already know about this, but I thought I should just post it for everyone to read, just in case someone is missing this market place!

I went to Chabra wholesale market place (they sell all types of grocery, fruits, fish, meat and chicken) at Mseimeer area.

They sell all gorcey by packages or boxes, but you can bring along one or tow friends and share...

I will only list the things I bought and you can judge for yourself:

Grocery:
* 7kg of Cucumber for 10 QR.
* 6kg of Tomato for 10 QR.
* 6kg of Orange for 16 QR.
* 30 pieces of Kiwi for 15 QR.
* 5kg of red pimento for 15 QR.
* 5kg of onion for 12QR.
* 8 small packs of Strawberry for 10 QR.
* 10 Pineapples for 57 QR.
* 3kg water melon for 5 QR.

Fish:
* Hamour fish - 1kg => 18 QR.
* Medium size shrimps - 1kg => 25 QR.
* Calamari - 1kg => 20 QR.
* Sha'oor fish - 1kg => 5 QR.
* Sardine - 1kg => 2.5 QR.
* King fish (large) - 1kg => 15 QR.
** You have to pay 1 QR per kg for cleaning and slicing the fish, although the cleaning area stinks, but you have to clean the fish before cooking it anyway...

The Chabra market (wholesale market) place is found going to Salwa Road from the C-ring, reaching wholesale market roundabout (the 3rd roundabout from the C-ring traffic light counting the R/A below Medmac flyover). Go to the left and then you will find a small roundabout, go left again and the market place is ther at your left side.
