COMPANY POLICY LEGALITY

our boss will make a company policy without any approval of any Qarar labor law office, isn't it illegal?
today he just said that we have to wake-up more earlier to catch our standby bus not more than 6:45am, & then he will make the late to deduct "3 DAYS ABSENT" from the "1 DAY LATE ONLY".,
He got mad because today we came into our office about 9:20am already which we should be already in our office not more than 8:00am just because of a damn traffic always in the main road going to industrial area at rush hour(woqod)..
anyway or accomodation is in "NAJMA" & our office is at the "NEW INDUSTRIAL AREA" & we have only "2 BATHROOM" to accomodate "17 EMPLOYEES" including 2 drivers to take a bath.

THANKS!

by the way our boss he said he's a Jordanian national, but the other says he's a Palestinian national..
how's that? :>

I'm afraid that in Qatar we all have to get up extremely early in order to allow for the traffic. It's just part of the job to be on time.

There are lot of Jordanian (Plastinians) here. You should explain him the whole situation regardless of what ever nationality he have.

Hope he understands.

Good Luck.

I'm sorry to tell you that most of the workers are facing the same problem. Still not so much issues came up from the governement to solve them. Anyway, just leave the job if you can and search for another one.
