On a different topic, how do expats deal with their earnings in Doha? What are the best banks to deal with, and are their any important regulations about transfering money out of Qatar? I will be sending funds abroad every month for family commitments, is this easy or an ordeal?

The western union here charges around $10 for transfering $1000 but again the transfer fees may vary according to where you are wiring the money
