A Qatari partner is a must, The rule which exists is

51% Qatari and 49% Expatriate, and make sure ya make

the proper contracts and make the Qatari invest 51%

and having a power of authority towards signing cheques

and exit permit will be an added advantage. From 30 years I've been in Qatar and from 2 years I have been

searching for a Good Qatari Sponsor. Everyone whom i have met both educated and uneducated turned out to be either useless or want the business plan to start out the business themselves. So make sure

you dont give out your business plan. But over all one word of advice "DONT TRUST ANYONE" they all look good

on the first meeting the fourth meeting they show their

true colors.

P.s there are even taxes to be paid here in qatar any profit made over 5 million QR there is a 35% tax which is a must. For more info feel free to contact me...

Regards...
