Dear Friend,

It has already effected. I know many companys myself who have reduced the staff by atleast 40 % and still trying to reduce.

yes we cannot escape from the fact that we are affected. I've been looking for a job for about 2 1/2 months. Other companies are willing to get my service but they offer less salary package.

No place is really immune to the global financial impact but hopefully this trend won't last for long as the bill of 819 billion dollars financial crisis bailout plan is in process of approval by the senate it will change things a bit for now and will do good to the global economy as stocks in asia are already getting some momentum by only the news of the bill

Yes, the effect is now here in qatar because some companies have US exposure ( i mean invested in US). Hope President Obama may lessen this impact in the near future because workers loosing their jobs resulting to higher poverty level.

obama being elected has nothing to do with the global crisis. after all, it started without him. and yes, the crisis is already here in Qatar.
