Not necessary...But do keep it for a safer side..
its better to have a copy of exit permit in case something goes wrong.
normally there is no need for that because exit permit is in the system.
you may get your exit permit copy from http://www.moi.gov.qa/

in fact, u don't need a copy, it's on the system, but in case they have system down at time of ur departure, so keep a copy.
