Hello I got a job in work visa and contract made by the company. I am an engineer by profession. I wish to know to apply for family visa and to bring my family whether 6 months Bank statement is required?

As I am coming to Qatar in Feb 1st week is it that I need to wait for 6 more months to bring my family or it would be much earlier. I wish to get an immediate reply to decide on the education of kids. If any one can help plzzz.

If you are working for a large reputed company, you do not have to wait for 6 months before you apply for family visa. The letter from your employer confirming your pay would suffice. In a Q company I have seen people getting their families on a permanent visa within the first month of their employment. You should talk to immigration guy at your office. He should be able to assist you with this.
