How is the Bin Mahmoud area ?

Hi,

I'm in the process of moving to Doha and I have to choose a flat. I've been looking at diferent areas, but I'm more interested in the Bin Mahmoud area.

Can anyone offer some tips about this area ? Ups and downs? Is it safe, crowded or not ?....things like that

20-30 mins should be fine for around 12 km, trust me :)

it takes for me 1 hour now to get to work (same distance)....so reducing this to half sounds very good :D

If Al saad signal is not heavy traffic then it won't take more than 20 min to get in Aspire Area

For shopping and family life is OK...but its not easy to get IN and OUT this area as heavy traffic always around this area. Off course Doha getting more traffic jams nowadays!

does any one know how much time would take in the morning(going to work) and in the afternoon (coming back from work) from Bin Mahmoud to Aspire park ?

I live in Merzam nearby Mega Mart..good location.

Bin Mahmoud is a good and peaceful area. I have been working there since 8 years. I didn't find anything to worry about. Lots of shops and Resturant beside. Alsaad is nearby, Hamad Medical Hospital is beside. Lulu and Centre Point is nearby...It is overall a good place to live. best of luck to you...

Everywhere now in Doha is crowded, Bin Mahmouod is no exemption,it is located in the heart of the city, been here for 20 years, go ahead you will be safe..
