Aslam o alikum

I need to edit avi or divx movies, I am simply looking to be able to cut few scenes and have the rest of the movie as one file in AVI or DivX format.

I have Mac and Both windows, the imovie in Mac do not import file may be due to size around 700 MB,

Have tried windows movie maker, it seems to does the job but save files in wmv format and also reduces the quality.

Not willing to pay expensive software such as movie cut pro, appreciate some easy guidance on this.

I don't consider it "Pirated Software", I'd rather call it "Freedom of Information." But that's a political view and possibly inadequate here in this area of kings and dictators.
