i'm an employee in this company for 2 years and 8 months. I was scheduled to go on vacation, but 3 days before my intended departure, they terminated me and thus forcing me to stay and clear all my work. Could anyone here let me know what benefits i am still entitled to?

I do have a bank loan, and I was exoecting my vacation money be given before all this.

Please advise, your creative comments are greatly appreciated.

Yes, insurance will take care of everything.

Go to the bank and tell them you have been terminated so that they can start with the insurance paperwork and you won't have to pay back what you owe.

It doesn't matter if I tell you that I know atleast scores of people who has been to Air Ports and had taken flights home ... ..... bank clerks will keep you forcing to pay that illegal money which actually now the liabilty of the insurer , better start noting down the names & tel numbers of the bank clerks who ask you to return the balance loan amount ...... Insurers have offices here in our own city in the shining glass towers / buildings ...... ......... ... Thu, 01.05.2014 , 08.43 hrs

DF , This issue is very very common in the gulf , don't be confused with some comments from a fellow above , who says company helped you opening bank a/c that's for the identity reference only not a guarantee from your comapny to the bank that this guy must return your money , situation is changed my friend ....... Would not they see and read the letter that guy is terminated , income is stopped so no payment of further installments be given to the bank ...... The insurer of the loan of DF must be called on fixed line phone and they must write off the DF 's loan and show some sympathy towards this unfortunate human being ............ Your company will settle your entitlements when they terminate you.

But in order to be given the clearance to exit the country you need to cancel your RP and get an exit permit.

And in order to cancel your RP you need to pay your loan.

Hopefully your entitlements will be enough to cover your loan amount.

No way , You don't have income , you won't pay , bank must call their loan insurer folks to clear the balance amount on the DF's behalf ..... Any gentleman from bank / insurance understands this regardless of how cunning he might be ..................... .................... Thu, 01.05.2014 , 08.22 hrs

Entitlements from the company has no connection with bank loan , they are two different entities . You & they must deal it separately ...................... So be smart don't talk about entitlements with the bank people and in the same way don't touch loan issue with the HR people .... Get hold of the Termination Letter at the earliest from HR .... ..... .....................' Thu, 01.05.2014 , 08.17 hrs

Your PRO will need a letter from your bank stating that you have no liabilities in order to either transfer or cancel your RP. If your company opened your bank account for you, this means you first have to repay the loan.

Bank loan question is resolved with the '' Termination Letter '', Khallas ....... Avoid discussing the details of loan with bank clerks ...... speak very very less ..... mention ''Termination Letter'' two three times then keep quiet & look in other directions , ... At this moment for few more days be friendly with dept. head and HR people .... ... Thu, 01.05.2014 , 07.41 hrs ..........

It's tough time for you .................. You should get gratuity , return air ticket 's cash for your unavailed vacation , another one way ticket or equivalent cash ....... this is minimum ........ Good luck DF ................ Explain everything to your family .

Get the termination letter from your company, make copies , give this to your bank , no need to pay anymore money to them because you have no job { terminated } be very careful with bank clerks , don't fear from their threats etc ...... Why the greedy folks are asking you to work after the termination ? Be firm in your talks with HR & banks ...... Thu, 01.05.2014 , 07.33 hrs ..........
